APPLICATION PROCEDURE

If an accessible information request or complaint has been rejected, if you disagree with the decision made, or if the response does not meet the requirements set out in Article 12.5, the interested party may initiate a claim. A claim may also be initiated if twenty working days have passed without receiving a response.

The claim may be submitted through the Generic Instance of the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, as well as through the other options set out in Law 39/2015 of 1 October on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Claims will be received and handled by the General Subdirectorate of Service Inspection of the Ministry.

1. How do I make a booking?

You can book your private charter here by paying a 50% deposit. The remaining amount is paid on the day of departure by card or cash. You can also pay the full amount when booking.

2. How is the route decided (North or South)?

The route depends on the charter duration (4 or 8 hours) and sea and weather conditions. Our skippers review the forecast the day before and choose the most suitable area to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Departing from Port de Maó–Mahón allows us to select the best route each day.

3. What is included in the price?

All charters include:

We always display the final price — no hidden costs.

4. What does the local product aperitif include?

A light tasting of Menorcan and Mallorcan products: Mahón cheese, carn-i-xua, breadsticks, almonds, olives and quince paste. It is a small aperitif to discover the flavours of Menorca, not a full meal.

5. What cold drinks are included?

In the cooler you will find complimentary drinks: beer, white wine, Coca-Cola, Aquarius.

6. What should I bring on the trip?

We recommend bringing:

  • Swimwear Towel 
  • Sun protection (cream, hat, sunglasses) 
  • Light clothing 
  • Phone or camera

7. Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes, you can bring your own snacks and drinks. We also offer various catering options on request, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives.

8. How does the cancellation policy work?

  • More than 30 days before the charter: full refund of the booking amount.
  • More than 7 days before: full refund minus a 10% administration fee.
  • Within 7 days of the charter: no refund, unless official documentation is provided (illness, flight cancellation or force majeure). In justified cases, we refund the amount paid minus a 10% administration fee. For full details, click here.

9. What happens if the weather is uncertain?

The sea in Menorca can be affected by wind from previous days, even if it appears calm. We monitor official forecasts and keep you informed. The skipper has the final say for safety and comfort. If conditions are not safe, we reschedule or refund 100% of the deposit. To view full conditions, click here.

10. Can children come?

Yes, families with children are welcome. Our boats are stable and comfortable, and we have life jackets for the little ones. Please let us know their ages when booking.

11. Can I book last minute?

Yes, as long as availability allows. You can call us or message us on WhatsApp. During high season we recommend booking in advance.

12. Do you only offer private charters?

Yes. All our experiences are fully private — the boat and skipper are exclusively for your group.

13. Do I need sailing experience?

No. All charters include a professional skipper so you just need to relax and enjoy.

14. Where do we depart from?

All charters depart from Port de Maó–Mahón, the largest natural harbour in Europe and the ideal starting point to sail towards the North or South coast.

15. Can you help with special requests?

Yes, we can help with celebrations, catering, transfers and much more. We will do our best to make your experience in Menorca truly special.

16. What time do charters depart?

The schedule depends on your booking (4 or 8 hours). We confirm the exact time at the moment of booking.

17. Can we use the snorkel and paddleboard during the trip?

Absolutely. All equipment is included so you can enjoy snorkelling and paddleboarding at some of the most beautiful coves in Menorca.

18. How can I pay for the charter?

Bookings made through the website require a 50% deposit. The remaining payment is made on the day of the charter, in cash or by card.

19. What time does the trip start?

The morning charter and the full-day charter depart at 10:00. The afternoon charter departs at 15:00.

20. Are the llauts restored? What makes them special?

Yes. All our llauts have been restored by expert caulker carpenters specialising in traditional boatbuilding. Every winter we take them out of the water for full maintenance at our facilities to guarantee comfort, safety and aesthetics on every trip.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

1. If you cancel your booking

  • 30 days or more before the charter: full refund.
  • Between 30 and 7 days before: full refund minus a 10% administration fee.
  • Within 7 days of departure (including the day of the charter): non-refundable, except in duly justified and documented cases (illness, cancelled flights, force majeure). In these cases, we refund the amount paid minus a 10% administration fee.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise and we always try to be as flexible as possible within these conditions.

2. If the weather is bad

We follow the AEMET maritime forecast and the professional judgement of our skippers. If conditions are not suitable, we will first try to reschedule. If not possible, we refund 100% of the deposit.

We consider conditions unsuitable when:

  • Heavy swell – Waves above 1.5 m
  • Strong wind above 22 knots
  • Heavy rain forecast for more than 20% of the trip
  • Or when the skipper considers the experience would not be safe or comfortable

 

Light rain or local showers without wind or swell issues are not considered bad weather.

3. If we have to cancel

This is rare, but technical issues or force majeure situations can arise. If we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer:

  • A similar vessel (if available)
  • The option to change the date
  • Or a full 100% refund of the deposit

 

Cancellations and modifications are handled by email or WhatsApp. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
